Skip-the-Line Entry to the Capitoline Museums: Explore Rome’s Richest Art Collection

Founded in 1471 by Pope Sixtus IV, the Capitoline Museums house an extraordinary collection of art, ancient sculptures, and Renaissance masterpieces, distributed across three main buildings: Palazzo dei Conservatori, Palazzo Nuovo, and Palazzo Senatorio.

Admire legendary works such as the Equestrian Statue of Marcus Aurelius, the iconic Capitoline Wolf symbolizing the founding of Rome, and paintings by great masters such as Caravaggio, Titian, and Rubens. Stroll among Roman busts, precious mosaics, and ancient bronzes that tell thousands of years of history.

From the museum’s panoramic terrace, enjoy breathtaking views of Rome, with glimpses of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. Each room of the Capitoline Museums will take you on a journey through the culture and art of the Eternal City.

The Capitoline Museums are open 7 days a week, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with last admission at 6:10 p.m. Entrances are organized every 20 minutes to ensure a peaceful and organized visit.
